This document presents Ethiopia’s first voluntary national review (VNR) conducted in 2017. The first VNR on SDGs implementation in Ethiopia had two main purposes including (1) review of the process of national preparation for and implementation of the SDGs which was undertaken in a manner reflecting the objective realities in the country and identify strengths, gaps, challenges and opportunities of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
