The Ethiopia 2030: The Pathway to Prosperity Ten Years Perspective Development Plan (2021 – 2030) is a ten-year development Plan that lays a long-term vision of making Ethiopia an “African Beacon of Prosperity”.
Agenda 2063 in Ethiopia
Agenda 2063 is Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future. It is the continent’s strategic framework that aims to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.

This document presents Ethiopia’s 2022 voluntary national review (VNR) as part of the country’s commitment “to engage in the systematic follow-up and review of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” as per the General Assembly Resolution A/RES/70/1 adopted in 2015. The report covers the review of the implementation of the SDGs between 2015/16-2020/21.
ETHIOPIA NATIONAL VOLUNTARY REVIEW, 2017
This document presents Ethiopia’s first voluntary national review (VNR) conducted in 2017. The first VNR on SDGs implementation in Ethiopia had two main purposes including (1) review of the process of national preparation for and implementation of the SDGs which was undertaken in a manner reflecting the objective realities in the country and (2) identify strengths, gaps, challenges and opportunities of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
